Dana is one of the newest members of Stompbox but is an experienced pro. Combining amazing range and tone and a naturally fun, likeable personality and stage presence, she's an absolute blast to see live.
A music lover of all genres, Dana's versatile vocal style encompasses rock, pop, country, soul, R&B and blues. She taught herself to sing as a child through her ability to imitate acts like Mariah Carey, Stevie Nicks, Elvis Presley, and Michael Jackson. She performed in numerous theatrical and musical productions, earning an award from the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts in high school for her performance as Anita in West Side Story.
She is also a talented songwriter, and as lead singer of the popular local South Bay original rock band Jade of Days, she wrote the melodies and lyrics for 60+ songs, performed in countless live shows and competitions, appeared in local and international publications, and was named the winner of the YMM Vocalist Competition in 2009.
